Their food slaps. Owner is awesome. Service is extraordinary. Taco Tuesday should be a national weekly holiday with how good their tacos are.

Food, out of this world. That's all that matters. If you know good food, order the parrillada mexicana. Out-f**king standing. Your mouth can thank me later. They do alright in the other areas to. Edited to say that I would age taken a picture but we accidentally ate everything and there wasn't but an empty plate to look at. Sorry, not sorry.

Ok had different dishes this time but were good. Service did a good job but food was very slow getting out and putting together the order they forgot things and think they forgot some! Ambiance typical for Friday afternoon. Price $50+

Authentic Mexican perfectly portioned. Steak tacos were excellent and the meat was not the least bit cordy or tough as is common at Mexican restaurants. Wife and daughter had fajitas Good service we will be back again when we come through town

I stopped here with my wife for the first time while traveling through Iorn Mountain, and I'm really glad that we did; the environment, service, and food were excellent. Everything we tried was delicious, but I am going to have to recommend the Philly cheesesteak burrito! I have never seen a Philly cheesesteak burrito on the menu at a Mexican restaurant before, so I decided to give it a try, and it was fantastic. The cheese sauce that covered the burrito was some of the best I have ever had. They also have a really good peach margarita. If you happen to be in the area and you love Mexican food, I recommend that you stop here.

Another wonderful meal at Carlos Cantina. Tonight I had the Tres Maria's. Three enchiladas, one cheese, chicken and beef. Each enchilada has its own sauce; verde, red, and cheese. The red sauce is the hero of this plate. One of the most flavorful red enchilada sauces I have had. The verde was mild, and if you have read any of my other reviews, you know I love the queso. The enchiladas are served with lettuce, tomato, sour cream, guacamole, and rice. The chicken enchilada was shredded. I would say this is authentic, but next time, I will ask for the other chicken. It is soooo good. The beef one was ground beef. I was expecting shredded, but this was ok. Overall very pleased with the food selection tonight. The oddest thing about tonight was that I felt rushed, which is usually not the case here. Food was very fast, and hot, but as soon as I seemed to be done, my server removed my plate. Again, not the norm for this restaurant. However, I can appreciate efficiency, so maybe he thought he is doing the right thing. I just like to linger when eating alone.

Wow! This place is amazing!! So happy my husband and I decided to come here for dinner when visiting for the weekend. The place was pretty busy but we still got a spot right away. The ambiance is super cool, lots of wood carvings throughout - on the chairs, tables, walls, etc. The authenticity of the restaurant is real and so vibrant. Our waiter was very nice and pleasant. Went out of his way to ensure we were happy with everything- from food, to drinks to the cleanliness of everything. He was very nice and accommodating. The food was extremely good too. I decided on the shrimp, chicken and beef fajitas that also came with avocado, beans, rice, sour cream and salsa. It was a lot of food!! We enjoyed ourselves and will be back to eat here when we visit the city again.
